Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Triple Sherry Cask is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three types of Spanish sherry cask: Oloroso, Amontillado and Fino.
Each cask type adds something different, with Oloroso for richness, Amontillado for dryness and Fino for brightness, and the three are then married together.
The nose has dark chocolate, dried fruit, roasted coffee, toffee, cinnamon and polished oak. The palate is full-bodied, with ripe fig, baked apple and sweet sherry, plus nuttiness and gentle spice. The finish is long, with spiced fruit, hazelnut and soft oak.
