Glenfiddich – 21 Year Old Reserva Rum Cask Finish Chinese New Year 2025 (70cl, 40%)

This is a 21 year old Glenfiddich single malt from Speyside, released as the Chinese New Year 2025 edition. The edition pairs the Glenfiddich stag with the nine-coloured deer of Chinese mythology. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered, with added colouring. The whisky matured for at least 21 years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It then spent four to nine months in Caribbean rum casks in Warehouse No. 1. The nose combines vanilla sweetness, floral notes and a hint of banana with figs, toffee, new leather and oak. On the palate it starts soft, then turns lively with peppery spice, smoke, oak, lime and ginger. The finish is long, warm and dry.
