Glenfiddich – 40 Year Old Cumulative Time

Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Cumulative Time is a 40 year old single malt built around a process of remnant vatting, in which each batch is carried over and blended with casks from later releases. It comes in a bespoke jesmonite case with a geological design. The nose is dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and ripe black cherries, with gentle wood smoke, polished leather and cloves. The palate is full and silky, moving from dried fruit to fruitcake, dates, raisins and stewed apples, then dry oak with hints of bitter chocolate and peat. The finish is long-lasting.
