Glenfiddich – Experiment 04 Fire & Cane Rum Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is the fourth expression in the Experiment Series, a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The series grew from Malt Master Brian Kinsman's idea, in 2003, of running peated spirit through the Glenfiddich stills. This bottling joins Glenfiddich's smoky whisky with malts matured side by side in bourbon casks, which bring the distillery's fruit and sweet character. All of the whiskies were then finished in Latin rum casks, which add a surprising layer of caramel toffee sweetness.
