Winter Storm is a 21 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, part of the distillery's Experimental Series. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is finished in Canadian icewine casks, which gives it a winey side alongside tropical fruit.
On the nose there are candied fruits, apricot and candy apple with vanilla, potpourri, pineapple and papaya. The palate brings runny honey, a hint of Moscatel, lychee, zesty citrus and marmalade, with herbal oak and a light bitter edge. The finish is fairly short, with caramel, wine and oak tannins.
