Glenfiddich Special Reserve 12 Year Old is an older bottling of the Speyside single malt, carrying the traditional "Pure Single Malt" wording and the earlier bottle design. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky has spent a minimum of 12 years maturing in oak casks.
In the glass it is described as balanced, with ripe orchard fruit, pear and gentle malt sweetness, then creamy oak and subtle warming spice. The finish is smooth and mellow.
