A single cask Glenglassaugh from Scotland, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2019 at ten years old. It matured in a Port cask and is bottled at a cask strength of 59.6% in a 70cl bottle, with 293 bottles from the one cask. The Whisky Cask Company bottled it, labelled Peatside. It is undiluted, natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The nose has pronounced roasted notes and peat, with spicy sweetness. On the palate, peat smoke meets Port sweetness, with marzipan, dried fruit and a hint of cinnamon and cardamom.
