This Glenglassaugh is 8 years old, matured in a bourbon cask and bottled by Cadenhead's at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Cadenhead's bottles without chill-filtration or added colour. Glenglassaugh is a Speyside distillery founded in 1874. It closed and reopened several times, and returned to production in 2008 after 22 years of silence. The nose is green apple, brandy snaps, malt and oats. Honeycomb, strudel, faint spice and vanilla ice cream make up the palate, and the finish brings pears, vanilla pods and demerara sugar.
