Glengoyne – 10 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Glengoyne 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The distillery dries its barley with warm air rather than peat, so there is no peat smoke in the whisky. Distillation is slow, and the casks are carefully chosen European and American oak. The whisky is typically described as fruity and elegant, with green apples, toffee, hints of popcorn and nuts, and a touch of liquorice and wood. A drop of water brings out linseed oil and almonds.
