Glengoyne – 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Glengoyne 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Its cask recipe is split three ways: 20% first-fill European oak sherry casks, 20% first-fill American oak bourbon casks and 60% hand-selected refill oak casks. The sherry wood adds intensity and richness, while the first-fill bourbon casks bring fresh citrus and vanilla notes. The whisky has a natural, rich gold appearance. On the nose there is coconut oil, honey, lemon zest and dried oak. The palate offers toffee apples, ginger, orange and shortbread, and the finish carries a hint of sherry, soft oak and cinnamon spice.
