This is a 12 year old Glengoyne Highland single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its cask recipe is 20% first-fill European oak sherry, 20% first-fill American oak bourbon and 60% hand-selected refill oak. The sherry wood brings intensity and richness, while the first-fill bourbon casks add fresh citrus and vanilla notes.
The colour is a rich, natural gold.
The nose combines coconut oil, honey, lemon zest and dried oak. The palate has toffee apples, ginger, orange and shortbread. The finish carries a hint of sherry, soft oak and cinnamon spice.
