This is a 15-year-old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is an unpeated whisky, and the PX finish adds a pronounced sherry character with rich sweetness. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colouring.
On the nose there are raisins, dates and dark dried fruit, with vanilla, caramel and a little oak spice. The palate is full and soft, with rich sweetness, chocolate, toffee and spice on a creamy texture. The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, spice and oak.
