Glengoyne 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery known for slow distillation and an unpeated style. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with natural colour.
It is matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon casks. The sherry casks add depth, while the bourbon casks bring freshness and a creamy texture.
The nose has dried fruit, raisins, vanilla and honey, with fine spice and oak. The palate offers toffee, dark chocolate, ripe fruit and spicy oak, with sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with sherry, spice and oak.
