A 12 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, distilled in 2007 and bottled in May 2019 by Hunter Laing for its Old Malt Cask series. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for more than a decade in a single refill hogshead.
The nose is nutty and malty with a touch of cut grass, a little toasty and floral. Vanilla leads the palate, with faint wafts of smoky malt, and the finish brings pear, brown sugar and ground almond.
