Glenkinchie 12 Year Old, known as The Edinburgh Malt, is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is light but fragrant, with fresh cereal, grist, barley sweetness and a nutty note, and acacia honey arriving with a gentle warmth. The palate is very fruity, with Madeira and sweet stewed fruits, a hint of calvados and tannic oak lining the mouth. The finish is of medium length, with cereal and a fresh greenness.
