Glenkinchie – Distillers Edition 2020 (70cl, 43%)

Glenkinchie Distillers Edition 2020 is a Lowland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the yearly Distillers Edition range from Diageo, in which Scottish malts are finished in particular casks. This one was distilled in 2008 and first matured in refill American and European oak, then finished in Amontillado sherry casks. The nose is a balance of dry and sweet notes. The palate starts with freshly baked sponge, followed by rich malt and crisp, juicy grapes. The finish is long, with spicy oak and black pepper.
