Glenkinchie – Distillers Edition 2022 (70cl, 43%)

This is the 2022 Distillers Edition from Glenkinchie, a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 43% abv. Glenkinchie was founded in 1837 by the farmers George and John Rate, twenty miles from Edinburgh, and is known as The Edinburgh Malt because of that closeness to the capital. The Distillers Edition series uses a two-part maturation, with each cask chosen to suit the malt it holds. The aim is to add depth and complexity and to bring certain flavours forward more strongly than in the regular bottlings, while keeping the original character of the whisky.
