Glenkinchie Distillers Edition is a Lowland single malt matured in amontillado sherry casks. The amontillado adds a rounder feel and more depth to the whisky.
The nose offers peaches, apricots, almonds and soft ginger. The palate is smooth and balanced, gently spiced and nutty, with cherries, caramel, discreet sherry and vanilla. The finish is of medium length, with vanilla and lingering spicy Jaffa oranges, drying slowly to oak.
