Glenmorangie – 15 Year Old The Lasanta

Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a single malt finished in sherry casks, here re-imagined as a 15 year old. It was matured in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, giving a richer and more elegant expression than before. The distillery's Dr Bill Lumsden likens it to bottling the magic of a sunset, with rich spice alongside a sun-drenched sweetness. The nose is rich with chocolate, cinnamon and raisins. On the palate come raisin, honeycomb and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, balanced by cinnamon spice. The finish is long, warming and sweetly spiced.
