This is a 19 year old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was aged only in American white oak ex-bourbon casks.
The whisky pairs the soft, smooth character Glenmorangie is known for with a creamy texture and a zesty note.
The nose is fresh and zesty, with mint, eucalyptus and hints of sugar cane woven with candy, peaches and vanilla. The palate is smooth and creamy, with apple, apricot, tangy orange, toffee, butter candy and menthol. Mint toffee, oak tannins and lingering bittersweet citrus run through the finish.
