Glenmorangie Elementa is a 14 year old Highland single malt made for travel retail and bottled at 43% in a 1 litre bottle.
The spirit is first matured in American oak bourbon casks, then finished in new charred oak casks, which the distillery says brings woody depth and intense spice.
The nose shows spiced toffee, fresh grass, milk chocolate and vanilla, with clove and orange behind. The palate is intensely spicy, with dark ginger chocolate, fondant cream and baked peaches. The finish balances sweetness and spice, with a trace of cumin.
