Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1993 is a 25-year-old Highland single malt, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2018 at 43%. It is the third release in the Vintage Collection, Bond House No. 1.
The spirit was first aged in ex-bourbon casks for a decade. A single parcel was then selected for a 15-year finish in Bual Madeira casks, a far longer finish than was once thought possible. The result is a whisky with depth and minerality, and a full, flinty intensity.
1993 was also the year Glenmorangie established its sensory laboratory.
