Glenmorangie – Legends The Tarlogan Limited Edition (70cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie The Tarlogan is a Highland single malt in the distillery's Legends Collection, which draws on figures and stories from Glenmorangie's history. It is named after Tarlogan, a legendary ancestor linked with the lands around the distillery. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in a combination of virgin oak and ex-bourbon casks. The virgin oak adds hints of coconut, toffee and sweet cinnamon, while the bourbon casks bring orchard fruit and a silky texture. The palate opens with vanilla custard, honey and ripe pear, then citrus zest, baked apple and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, smooth and warming.
