This is a 10 year old Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Provenance series, the first in the Exceptional Single Casks range. It was distilled in May 2009 and bottled at 46% from a single cask.
The cask yielded 455 bottles. The whisky has no added colour and has not been chill-filtered.
The palate is mouth-coating and malty sweet, with flavours of ginger pastry.
