Glenrothes 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for 18 years. The spirit starts out crisp and fruity, and with that time in cask it gains depth and a rounded, lingering character.
The nose brings ripe pear, vanilla pods and orange oil, with almond and a little dried ginger. On the palate, sweet ginger, pear and rose water sit alongside light oak spice and creamy vanilla. The finish is sweet, with spice and a gently peppery undertone.
