Glenrothes 2004 Vintage is a 12 year old Speyside single malt, bottled in 2017 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The vintage was matured in a combination of Spanish and American oak casks, and 3,150 bottles were filled.
The nose is honey, vanilla and citrus with tropical fruit such as mango and papaya, and a touch of malt. The palate is very fruity, with ripe mango and fresh citrus, vanilla and caramel alongside spicy oak and a hint of nutmeg. The finish is long and lightly dry, with sweet vanilla, oak and gentle spice.
