This is an 11 year old Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail at 43% ABV. It is chill-filtered and carries no added colour.
The nose opens with sweet wine notes alongside bittersweet orange marmalade. Dried fruit such as raisins and figs follows gradually, with restrained spices including star anise and clove, soon overtaken by a wave of toffee and sweet vanilla.
