This Rosebank single malt was distilled on 3 July 1991 and matured for 32 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. It was bottled on 18 June 2024 at 51.2% ABV for Gordon & MacPhail's Recollection Series 3, in an outturn of 141 bottles.
Golden in colour, it is a Lowland whisky.
Gorse flower, lime zest and a hint of milk chocolate lead the nose, with dried banana and an undertone of peanuts. The palate moves from honeycomb to guava and passionfruit, then poached pear and vanilla fudge. The finish is medium-bodied, with creamy apple and tropical fruit.
