Gouden Carolus Het Anker Sherry Oak (70cl)

Gouden Carolus Het Anker Sherry Oak is a Belgian single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in sherry casks. It is made from the mash of Gouden Carolus Tripel beer at the Het Anker brewery in Mechelen, with Dr Jim Swan as consultant to the distillery. The whisky has a deep colour reminiscent of honey. The nose brings honey, vanilla, raisins and dark chocolate, and the palate is soft and velvety, with dried fruit, toffee, caramel and oak. The finish is long and warm, with sherry and spice.
