Gouden Carolus Het Anker Single Malt 3 Year Old (70cl)

Gouden Carolus Het Anker Single Malt is a Belgian single malt whisky aged for three years in first fill bourbon casks. It is made by the Het Anker brewery in Mechelen and comes in a 70cl bottle. The casks are charred dark, and the distillery has worked with the consultant Dr Jim Swan. The whisky was first presented in 2013, and the brewery's own history goes back to 1369. Flavours of vanilla, caramel and apricot are associated with the charred casks.
