Gran Gala XO is a French cognac in a 75cl bottle, made from French grapes and aged for over 10 years in oak casks. It is bottled at 40% vol and has a deep amber colour.
The style is rounded and velvety, with dark fruit, toasted oak and a little spice running through it.
On the nose there is ripe plum, caramelised fig and spiced wood. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with black cherry, vanilla bean and a backbone of aged oak. The finish is long and warming, with nutmeg and a silky texture.
