GDP Pure Malt 8 Year Old is a French malt whisky from Grandes Distilleries Peureux, bottled at 43% ABV. The company has distilled for more than 160 years and is known for its fruit eaux-de-vie. It is the second release in the GDP range and is matured in traditional Vin Jaune and Savagnin casks rather than bourbon casks. The aim was a round, fruity whisky with a mature character.
