Grappa di Amarone is made by Cà dei Frati in Franciacorta from the pomace of Amarone della Valpolicella. It expresses the elegance and complexity typical of Corvina, the principal grape in Amarone. Artisanal distillation preserves the concentrated aromas of the dried pomace. The nose shows mature fruit, cherries in spirit, sweet spices and a light hint of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, with a balance of softness and structure and a long persistence.
