Grappa Marolo Barolo Barrique is a grappa from the Marolo distillery in Alba, made from selected Nebbiolo pomace from Barolo. It is aged in small oak casks that previously held Barolo, giving it an amber colour and a rich, complex aromatic profile.
On the nose it shows ripe fruit, vanilla, cocoa and a light trace of spice. On the palate it is soft and warming, with a persistent finish that recalls its Barolo origins.
It is best served at room temperature in a snifter glass and suits the end of a meal.
