Green River Full Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 58.6%)

Green River Full Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon, hand-blended from select barrels at Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky. It is rye-forward and bottled at 117.3 proof without water dilution. The bourbon is aged for between five and seven years in tile-roofed rackhouses. The colour is deep golden amber, and the mouthfeel is full-bodied and lingering. The nose has cinnamon, dried cherry, baking spices, vanilla, caramel, light leather and a hint of fresh mint. On the palate are warming spice, sweet vanilla, dark caramel, chocolate-coated peppermints and light oak. The finish is long, dominated by baking spices and sweet oak.
