A Kentucky straight bourbon from the Green River Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky, bottled at 90 proof in a 75cl bottle. It is made from a high-rye mash bill of 70% corn, 21% winter rye and 9% malted barley, and aged for a minimum of five years.
The nose is warming spice, vanilla, caramel and chocolate-coated peppermints, with cinnamon and light leather behind. The palate brings butterscotch, vanilla, a touch of nutmeg and warm cinnamon spice. The finish is leathery oak with dried cherries and baking spices.
