Green Spot Chateau Leoville Barton is a Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, a special edition made as a collaboration between Green Spot and Chateau Leoville Barton. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey was first matured in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, then finished in French oak wine casks.
The nose combines crisp woodland notes and pot still spice with delicate floral perfume, ripe raspberries and strawberries, and orchard fruits. On the palate, oak and spice are balanced, with vanilla sweetness set against a dry wine influence. The finish is slow to fade, led by rich French oak.
