Griffo Stout Barreled Whiskey is an American whiskey made with organic corn and roasted malts. It is aged in new American oak barrels, then finished in used stout beer barrels. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The corn gives a nutty sweetness, while the roasted malts bring a coffee and chocolate stout character. Notes of fresh fig, caramel, coffee bean and chocolate lead to a long, evolving finish of espresso and chocolate with a hint of tobacco.
