Hakushu 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary Edition is a Japanese single malt, produced in 2023 to mark Suntory's first hundred years. It was developed for the occasion as one of the company's limited editions of its main expressions, in a 70cl bottle.
Hakushu is Suntory's second distillery, set among mountain forests in the Japanese Alps, where the seasons shape the surroundings. The bottle is meant to evoke that setting, with sunlight breaking through the clouds.
The 12-year-old malt is described as having fresh, herbal aromas that reflect its home terroir.
