Hakushu – 12 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Hakushu 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. The distillery is known as the Mountain Forest Distillery and stands among fresh streams and lush forests. It was built on the idea of coexisting with nature, and a bird sanctuary was set up to help protect the surroundings and the clean water used for the whisky. It can be taken neat, on the rocks or with ice and soda water. The nose brings basil, pine needle and green apple. On the palate come sweet pear, mint and kiwi, and the finish has green tea with a little smoke.
