Hakushu 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky, aged for twelve years and presented in a 70cl bottle.
It has a green, refreshing character. The flavours are crisp, with green apple and a hint of mint, and there is a subtle, gentle smokiness that stops well short of a big peated style.
It is often compared to a walk through a fresh forest after light rain, and it is smooth rather than harsh.
