This is an 18 year old peated single malt from Hakushu in Japan, released as the 100th Anniversary Edition. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is vibrant, with sage, ripe green apple and hints of ripe pineapple. The palate shows complex smoke with layers of herbs, grapefruit and acacia honey, and the finish is clean smoke lingering with fresh green citrus.
