This is a 25 year old Japanese whisky from the Hakushu distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is a dark amber colour.
The nose combines plum, a cigar humidor and caramel. On the palate come crème brûlée, sage, lavender and baked pineapple. The finish is long and pleasant, with smoke and a touch of hinoki cypress.
