Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve

Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a single malt from Suntory, distilled at the Hakushu distillery in the mountains at the foot of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Japanese Alps. It carries no age statement. The whisky is light gold in colour, with a fresh, spicy character and a lightly smoky, fruity and citrusy profile. The nose brings peppermint, melon and cucumber. On the palate there are yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme, and the finish carries a subtle smoke.
