A peated Japanese single malt from Hakushu, bottled in 2024 at 48% ABV in an 18cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1973 on Mount Kaikomagatake, which makes it one of the highest-sited distilleries in the world, and it draws its water from a nearby mountain spring. This edition was matured in American and Spanish oak.
On the palate it is complex, with smoke, vanilla, caramel and citrus, along with a hint of fruit, nuts and spice.
