Hakushu – Heavily Peated 2013 (70cl)

Hakushu Heavily Peated 2013 is a Japanese whisky from the Hakushu distillery, which stands in the heart of Japan's forests. It is a smokier expression of the distillery, in a 70cl bottle. Hakushu is known for whiskies that are elegant, precise and fresh, and this version keeps that identity while leaning further towards peat smoke. It is described as offering smoke, lime, green tea and ginger.
