Hakushu Peated Malt Spanish Oak – Kogei Collection (70cl, 43%)

Hakushu Peated Malt Spanish Oak is a Japanese whisky from the Kogei Collection, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It draws on the early Yamazaki experiments with Spanish oak casks and smoky spirit, as recalled by Shinji Fukuyo. A subtle touch of smoke runs alongside the richness of dried fruit and nuts. The notes are deep and include mocha, raisins, almonds and sweet spices.
