A fifteen-year-old pure single Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate, matured entirely in Jamaica's tropical climate. Despite an angels' share of more than 75%, it was aged in full on the island, making it the oldest tropically aged Hampden bottling since the estate began maturing its own rums on site in 2010.
It was distilled in a small run and is a high-ester rum, with an ester content of 200 to 400 g/hlpa, in line with the LROK marque created in 1952.
The aromatic profile is layered: fruity, oily, oxidative and faintly powdery.
