Hanyu-Kawasaki Ichiro's Malt & Grain Kiyosato Field Ballet 27th Anniversary Japanese Blended Whisky (70cl, 48%)

This is a Japanese blended whisky vatted by Ichiro Akuto from two single casks: a 1990 vintage Hanyu and a 1982 vintage Kawasaki. Both distilleries are now closed. It was bottled in 2016 at 48% in a 700ml bottle, with 700 bottles released. The bottling marks the 27th anniversary of the Kiyosato Field Ballet. The casks were refill sherry butts and a Demerara rum cask. Kawasaki made grain whisky and was owned by Mercian, which also owned Karuizawa. After both closed, Akuto bought most of the remaining cask stock in 2006.
