Hatozaki Finest Blended (70cl, 40%)

Hatozaki Finest Blended is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV, uncoloured and not chill-filtered. Malt and grain whiskies are brought together in a two-stage marriage, with at least 40% malt whisky. Some components mature for up to twelve years, though that is not an age statement for the blend. The stocks come from several origins, including Scotland and North America, and mature further and are blended in Akashi. It is a light, unpeated blend. The nose is floral, and the palate has a pronounced malty core, grain notes and subtle sweetness. The medium-length finish brings pepper and a gentle warmth.
